Looking for that extra edge on your approach shots? We can help you put much more spin on your iron shots by replacing your existing grooves with our square grooving service. Even if your irons or hybrids have square grooves now they can be greatly improved by having the grooves cut deeper, wider and with sharper edges. While some irons are made from the factory with square grooves the edges are rounded off resulting in much less bite into the ball on each shot. After we recut new grooves in your irons they will also have less space in between grooves due to them being widened as seen in the diagram below. By using CNC machine technology we can ensure consistency and accuracy as we cut each groove line.

Have you ever watched with envy at how the pros can spin the ball backwards on the green after it lands? You'll be able to do the same thing once we recut the grooves on your irons. You will be able to keep your ball on the putting surface even when landing on very small greens. Your buddies will be amazed when they see your ball check and spin back towards the hole. You will go through a few more balls per round as the grooves will aggressively bite the ball. A softer, urethane ball will work best with the new grooves as it will allow them to bite into the ball's material better.

Recently you've seen many of the pros going back to the original Ping Eye 2 square groove irons to gain an advantage. Players are paying top dollar for the original Eye 2's as they had a more aggressive groove pattern than today's irons. Our grooves will be cut very similar to the Eye 2 grooves except slightly wider and deeper and with sharper edges. Once we cut the grooves a good groove sharpener will be helpful to maintain their sharpness. You will also want to keep them clean to remove dirt and grass in between shots or after each round.

Many players elect to have their entire set of irons regooved while others will choose certain ones like 5-SW or 7-SW. Hybrids are fine for regrooving as well.

How to Order

1. Add to Cart, and checkout as a guest or registered customer.
2. Print out your receipt and send a copy with your club(s). Make sure your return shipping address is the same address shown on your payment receipt or note where you would like the club(s) shipped to. Please don't send your club(s) without paperwork or your receipt. This will greatly slow down your turn around time while we research whose club(s) we have.

3. The best way to obtain boxes long enough for your club(s) is to visit your local golf course or pro shop and ask them for a box long enough to ship them in. Otherwise, USPS, UPS and FedEx all have 38" long triangular tubes for free; they will have to be cut and fitted in order to fit your club(s).
4. Please send your club(s) to the address below. USPS Priority is the cheapest method to use, but FedEx and UPS are great for getting your club(s) to us overnight. Please note that these methods are typically very expensive, and always insure your package!
   
   We receive round tubes with the plastic end caps that the club has fallen out of way too often! If you must use a round tube, add some wadded paper inside the tube on both ends of the club. Tape over the tube's end cap with a very strong packing tape extremely well. Don't be the next one to donate a club to the Postal workers golf team!

Please send the package with a shipping company that provides a tracking number so you can see when it is delivered to us. We are sorry but we can't always take the time to research whether your club came in or not. If you would like to receive a tracking number when we ship the club back please make sure your email is included when you checkout.

A note about USPS Priority Mail:
Priority mail does not use a true tracking number system. If you provide your email when checking out, you'll be sent a Delivery Confirmation number when we ship your clubs(s). This system only shows when the label is created and when a delivery attempt is made. It does not show actual progress of the package.

Canadian Customers

If you are shipping to us by ground make sure you mark the shipment 'Free Domicile' and not 'Prepaid.' 'Free Domicile' means all charges will be billed back to the shipper.

The best way to avoid any additional charges at customs is to ship by air. The entry prep fee for shipping across the border is built into air freight rates so there will be no surprise charges after the shipment has been delivered.

Orders placed before 4:00 pm MST, Monday - Friday, usually will ship that day. In stock orders placed after 4:00 pm MST will be processed the next business day. Weekend and holiday orders will be processed on the next available business day.
