Senior Golfers: Looking to Gain More Distance?
If you are a golfer over the age of 50, you may have noticed that your swing speed has started to slow down over the years. This is very common complaint among golfers our age that don’t feel like they can hit the ball as long as they used to. But, don’t freak out! We at World’s Hottest Drivers specialize in solving this problem. Here are some tips to getting those lost yards back.
Get Fitted For The Right Head And Shaft
Always get test fitted to see which combination of head type, weight and center of gravity work best for you. Also, they will test which shaft weight, flex and launch angle are going to work best with your swing. Going and buying a driver without doing this is like taking a shot in the dark and you will be missing out on added performance.
Increase Swing Speed
Senior golfers typically can gain more distance by selecting a driver with a lighter shaft and head. You can also change your weight distribution by increasing the weight towards the grip end instead of the driver end. This will help improve the distance, accuracy and overall swing performance. Senior golfers can gain more distance by selecting a longer driver shaft. A longer driver shaft will provide you with more wider swing arc and help get more distance from your driver.
Utilizing the Shaft Flex
As your speed ability decreases, you may want to consider adding more flex to your golf shaft. Selecting the right flex is the key to getting the most out of your club- even as a senior golfer. Shafts come in five separate flex categories: X- extra stiff, S- stiff, R-regular, A- senior and L- ladies. Senior golfers can gain more distance by choosing the stiffness that works best for them. With a properly selected shaft flex, you will gain the advantage of a comfortable and increased performance.
So, don’t let lost driving distance get you down. There are plenty of options for how senior golfers can gain more distance. Here at World’s Hottest Drivers, we also offer a premier driver shaving service that can increase your driving distance by 20-40 yards without changing your swing! Subject: Need more info on the shaving clubs
My name is John Crim and I am a repeat customer. I’m wanting to buy your Callaway Speed Right handed 9* driver. I have a 85 mph swing speed. What I want is the most hottest driver on the course. Lets push the limits but is it the higher the swing speed the less you shave or how does that work?
Is this club brand new or used???
Thank You,
John Crim

Hello John, for your swing speed we recommend a .900COR shaving level and the Callaway Epic speed is a brand new driver that you would be purchasing, apologies for the late response but we have been moving warehouses and it has been quite the long time to get settled in the new place have a great day.
